DESCRIPTION & CONSUMPTION:
Triethylene glycol is used as a solvent for the luminol reaction because it has good
solubility for luminol and other reactants involved in the reaction. It helps dissolve and
distribute the luminol and other chemicals evenly throughout the reaction mixture,
allowing for a more uniform and efficient reaction.
